DIXIT ENSEMBLE

Classical music diverted with brilliance and sensitivity, mixing tango, jazz, improvised music and other current influences; a universe where Ravel resounds with Klezmer accents, Bach vibrates oriental, Brahms grooves jazzy, the Danse Macabre is more macabre than ever and Schubert dances the tango...
Pianist and composer Chloë Pfeiffer masters the art of arrangement with brio, using classical music as raw material, kneading it and shaping it according to the whims that run through her, often to the point of straying far from the original and entering the world of composition.
She surrounded herself with four excellent musicians from multiple backgrounds, all involved in the sound and aesthetic research of each piece.
A vibrant tribute to the "great repertoire"; festive, poignant music, vibrant with multiple influences where it is pleasant to recognize a melody that we know by heart and to be surprised by the fresh perspective brought to it by the 5 talented musicians.
